About Marzia Islamic Center
The Marzia Islamic Center, established in 2024 by The Hasan Family, is dedicated to enriching the spiritual lives of the youth in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to provide top-quality religious programs tailored for young minds, fostering a nurturing family atmosphere where every member feels embraced and empowered.
At the Marzia Islamic Center, inclusivity is pivotal; our programs are conducted in English, welcoming individuals from all backgrounds. In addition to our weekly offerings, we extend a warm invitation to our Sunday School, aimed at promoting the teachings of Islam, the Holy Prophet (S.A.W), and the Ahlul Bayt.
Our center takes its name in honor of Lady Fatima, the revered daughter of the Holy Prophet, as "Marzia" signifies "One Who is Devoted to Allah." This tribute also extends to Syeda Marzia Hasan, a beloved sibling of the Hasan Family, whose enduring love for education continues to inspire us. Despite her battle with childhood cancer, her legacy lives on through the Marzia Islamic Center, serving as a beacon of hope and knowledge.
We are grateful for the support of The Reza Foundation, established by the philanthropist Dr. Syed Reza, whose dedication to education and humanitarianism mirrors our own values. It is with profound respect and gratitude that we dedicate this institution to the memory of these esteemed individuals. May Allah bless them abundantly in the hereafter, insh’Allah.
